It’s a subtle improvement, and not a noticeable loss if you turn it off in Settings, much like scaling down the resolution to HD. OnePlus’s display is excellent, with a high 90-Hz refresh rate that makes animations look smoother than you’re used to seeing. It’s all screen, and a smooth one at that. This is the first phone I’ve fully tested with a display that covers the entire front, with no notch or hole-punch-nothing. It’s not the best case you can buy, but it’s good enough. Luckily, OnePlus includes a clear case in the box (a rare luxury).
ONEPLUS 7 CRACK
This beautiful finish is, of course, ready and willing to crack and shatter if you drop it. OnePlus sells a Nebula Blue version that’s particularly striking in person, with a matte glass back that starts out bright on the bottom and gently gets darker as your eyes move up. Like most fancy phones, this one has a metal frame that’s sandwiched in beautiful glass that curves around the edges. This is a luxury phone that feels as premium as a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S10 Plus, and the other humungo phones out there right now. OnePlus doesn’t just want to be the “best for the least” anymore it wants to be the best.
ONEPLUS 7 PRO
The price is going up too while last year's 6T reached nearly $600, this year's 7 Pro will run you $700. Its first 2019 device, the OnePlus 7 Pro, now works on every major US carrier, including, for the first time, Sprint. Its last phone, the OnePlus 6T, was sold unlocked to work on multiple wireless networks (as usual) and also sold directly by T-Mobile. Lately, however, OnePlus has been acting more ambitious. For a long time, you could only buy OnePlus phones from, and you wouldn't find one in a carrier store. They’re also a great deal, if you know where to find them. The camera usually isn’t quite as nice as the ones in the greatest handsets, but OnePlus phones run the latest processors and feel about as well built as a flagship phone. Its devices tend to hover around the $500 mark, and they’re always almost as good as the $750-plus Galaxy S, Pixel, or LG phones that year.

We do, however, run benchmarks on every phone we can - Geekbench 5 to measure overall performance and 3DMark Wild Life to test graphics performance. We take the same approach to finding the best OnePlus phones as we do any smartphone we review, with the exception of the Nord 2 since we don't have the proper testing facilities in the UK. You can play the waiting game forever with OnePlus, so it's best to just go for the phone that stands out to you at the time it makes sense for you to upgrade. But OnePlus has changed a lot in recent years, so it's hard to predict what the company will do next.
ONEPLUS 7 SERIES
OnePlus used to release flagships twice a year - once in the spring, followed by a T series version of that same phone in the fall. OnePlus Nord devices are the phone maker’s budget devices - prices are lower and features are scaled back, though you’ll still find a few notable capabilities.
The more expensive OnePlus flagships usually cost $700 and up and pack in the best features OnePlus has to offer. When shopping for the best OnePlus phones, keep in mind that OnePlus divides its smartphone product line into two different categories.

Read our full OnePlus Nord N200 5G review. Still, at $282, the OnePlus Nord N20 5G is a good value that will please bargain hunters just looking to add 5G connectivity. Other aspects of the Nord N20 5G disappoint, as the camera improvements that we've seen on other recent OnePlus phones have passed over this model. You get other solid features as well, such as a nice AMOLED display and good battery life.
In fact, the Nord N20 may be one of the cheapest 5G phones currently available.
There are things to like about the OnePlus Nord N20 5G, most notably that it gives you 5G connectivity in a device that costs less than $300. In other parts of the world, people enjoy the more full-featured OnePlus Nord 2, but here, we get a device with a lower price and stripped-down specs to match. users are getting short-changed with the Nord lineup.
